1. Check whether all components of the air respirator are complete, without damage, and whether the connections, pipelines, and valve bodies are intact.
2. Check the airtightness of the air supply system and the pressure value of the gas source.
3. Close the bypass valve and the gas supply valve, then open the cylinder valve switch, put the full mask correctly on the head, take a deep breath, and the valve of the gas supply should automatically open and supply gas.
4. Check whether the gas cylinder is securely fixed.
Common problem-solving methods for air respirators recommended by Hai'an Te:
1. Pressure reducer valve leaking
If there is a leak from the small hole in the rubber sleeve of the pressure reducer, it indicates that the O-ring on the piston or the O-ring on the valve rod is aging, or there is dirt or metal shavings on the O-ring. This requires cleaning or replacing the O-ring.
2. Medium pressure safety valve leaking
Generally, it is due to the aging and damage of the valve rubber pad of the medium pressure safety valve, which can be replaced with a new valve rubber pad.
3. Quick connector leaking
If there is a leak between the connectors, replace the new sealing ring or tighten the appropriate connector.
4. Poor airtightness of the positive pressure exhalation valve diaphragm
Aging of the positive pressure breathing valve diaphragm, cracking, or even notches are not allowed and must be replaced.
5. High-pressure part of the integrated combination pressure reducer leaking
Replace the sealing pad or tighten the connecting nut to ensure airtightness.
6. Gas source pressure indicator leaking
If the pressure gauge is not tightened or the sealing pad is brittle and damaged, it can be tightened or the sealing pad can be replaced.
