Generally, dealers only start stocking in mid-January, but this year is different from previous years. In previous years, logistics companies usually took a holiday around the 20th of the twelfth lunar month, while this year it is around early February. However, the sudden heavy snowfall this year has caused logistics companies to advance their holiday by a full ten days. For the dealer community, logistics factors have become the biggest determinant of their sales during the Spring Festival. Because around the Spring Festival, logistics companies will suspend operations for nearly a month, giving the hardworking truck drivers a long holiday to rest!
Currently, the national logistics holiday schedule has been basically determined, and the logistics suspension schedule in various regions is roughly as follows:
The provinces that will suspend operations on January 26, 2018 (the 10th day of the twelfth lunar month) are: Xinjiang, Gansu, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Qinghai, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Chongqing;
The provinces that will suspend operations on January 29, 2018 (the 13th day of the twelfth lunar month) are: Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia;
The provinces that will suspend operations on January 31, 2018 (the 15th day of the twelfth lunar month) are: Hunan, Hubei, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Anhui, Jiangxi, Fujian;
The province that will suspend operations on February 2, 2018 (the 17th day of the twelfth lunar month) is: Henan;
The provinces that will suspend operations on February 3, 2018 (the 18th day of the twelfth lunar month) are: Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong.
The bad news doesn't stop there. Due to adverse weather conditions, some enterprises in northern regions, such as Hebei and Tianjin, have already started their holidays, likely advancing to January 20, while other regions will also gradually start their holidays and stop shipping in early February.
