The editor of Haian reminds you that since the beginning of winter this year, many have fallen into cold weather. Both the southern and northern parts of China have been invaded by strong cold air. Such a sudden and significant drop in temperature poses a great challenge for compressed air filling pumps; at low temperatures, the oil will thicken and cannot flow smoothly, and some may even stop flowing completely. This requires a longer time to reach key components to provide lubrication and protection. When the inflating pump starts working immediately, it can easily cause dry wear, which over time can damage the internal cylinder of the inflating pump. Therefore, in cold weather, please pay attention to maintaining your breathing apparatus filling equipment, and be sure to change the oil and filter in a timely manner. Several factors lead to excessive consumption of lubricating oil in air breathing apparatus filling pumps.
The following factors simply cause excessive oil consumption in air breathing apparatus filling pumps:
1. Lubricating oil is too thin (oil temperature is high, brand does not meet requirements);
2. Lubricating oil pressure is too high;
3. The gap between the piston and the cylinder is too large;
4. The cylinder is out of round or excessively worn;
5. Oil leakage in the cylinder:
(1) The piston ring is excessively worn and loses elasticity;
(2) The piston ring is stuck in the groove;
(3) The gap in the piston ring groove is too large;
(4) Incorrect piston ring installation.
6. The gap in the crankshaft bearing or connecting rod bearing is too large;
7. The temperature of the crankcase is too high or ventilation is poor;
8. The oiling rod used for splash lubrication is too long or the oil level in the crankcase is too high.
