The usage time of the air respirator varies for different users and situations; the gas consumption differs, and the greater the work intensity, the faster the gas in the cylinder is consumed. The main factors to consider when using a respirator are:
1. The labor intensity of the user;
2. The physical condition of the user;
3. The degree to which the user is affected by their own excitement, fear, or other emotional factors;
4. The level of training and experience the user has with this or similar equipment;
5. Whether the cylinder is fully charged with gas at the start of use;
6. The atmospheric pressure in the environment, for example, if in an environment of 2 atmospheres, such as a pressurized tunnel or chamber, the usage time is under 1 atmosphere; if used under 3 atmospheres, the usage time is one-third of that under 1 atmosphere;
7. Factors such as the mask not fitting snugly against the face or being worn incorrectly.
